About Our Church

The Worldwide Church of God, with its administrative center in Glendora, California, has members in 120 countries and territories. The mission of the Church is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world and to help members grow spiritually (Matthew 28:19-20).

We believe we are called to proclaim the gospel of redemption and salvation by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and the hope of his second coming to rule all nations in righteousness and peace.

As a Spirit-led body of believers, we are told, "Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). The Spirit of God leads the Church into all truth (John 16:13). Accordingly, our Statement of Beliefs does not constitute a closed creed. We constantly renew our commitment to truth and deeper understanding, and respond to God's guidance in our beliefs and practices.
